Hotell Pilen is located just a stone's throw from the Umeå River, in the central, but quiet part of town known as "Öst på Stan". The hotel is one of the oldest in Umeå, dating back to early 20th century.

Our location on the fringe of the city centre is ideal. Within a five to ten minute walk, you can reach both central Umeå and some of the largest workplaces
in northern Sweden, situated in the eastern part of town, such
as the university, the university hospital as well as a number of other companies.

Hotell Pilen is characterized by
a warm, intimate feeling, and
our watchwords are service, closeness and quality. All this, together with our reasonable pricing, makes us a good alternative for most hotel
guests visiting Umeå - The City of Birches.

The hotel has recently under-
gone extensive renovation, and
a completely new building has been added, containing several rooms, a new dining area, conference facilities as well as
a pool and sauna.
